Since 1992, the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable (TMTR) has promulgated standards for training and promoted training methodologies to ensure the quality of mediation in Texas. SMU Law Review Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution Symposium

The Symposium will take place on February 17th at the SMU Dedman School of Law. The cost of attendance will be $150 (early registration ending January 31st) and $200 (regular registration). The Symposium will feature keynote speaker, Richard Delgado, as he reflects on his foundational article, "Fairness and Formality: Minimizing the Risk of Prejudice in Alternative Dispute Resolution". We will also assemble a community of respected and prominent ADR and discrimination scholars in panels to explore the continued impact of ADR on disempowered disputants by analyzing discrete areas within the ADR process.
